How to Crawl

Q. Is there a starting or stopping point?
A. Nope. You can start at any gallery, at any time, between 5:00-9:00 p.m.

Q. Where should I park?
A. Anywhere you can that’s close to a gallery! One of the cool things about living in the 318 is that (most) parking is free and there’s plenty of it.

Q. How should I dress?
A. However you want to! Crawlers come in all shapes, sizes, colors and outfits.

Q. What exactly do I do at a Downtown Gallery Crawl?
A. You wander around our galleries on both sides of the river, experiencing great art, making friends, enjoying music and food, and hopefully taking home a piece of art for yourself, supporting our creative community.

Q. How often do you Crawl?
A. Our Crawls are the first Thursday of every other month, starting in February. We have 6 opportunities a year for you to see new art each time, in all of our galleries.

Q. Do I have to be artsy to attend a Gallery Crawl?
A. Nope, part of our mission is to keep the Crawl free and open to everyone. All are welcome, and the more the merrier. Artsy not required.

Q. Does it cost anything to attend the Gallery Crawl?
A. Not a darn thing. We are a major event every other month in downtown Monroe and West Monroe, and you are always invited and it’s always free. Did we mention it’s free?

Q. Why should I care about fine art and galleries in my city?
A. Living in a smaller and more rural area like our 318, the fact that we even have such a strong creative community is something to celebrate! We come together 6 times a year to show off the talents of local, regional and even national artists while having a great time doing it. So yeah, that’s why!
